Description of procedure

1. Dental implant prosthetics are performed in cases of one, several, or all missing teeth. This treatment is usually conducted in several stages. 

• The first stage involves the implantation surgery, during which titanium rods (implants) are surgically inserted into the jawbone under anesthesia using specialized equipment. 
• On average, the second stage of treatment is performed after about six months (3-12 months) – it involves the placement of a crown, bridge-like prosthesis, or full denture.

2. The process of placing a crown or bridge-like prosthesis on an implant:

• Implantation surgery.
• Formation of soft tissues for future crown placement using a gum former.
• Impression and modeling. Obtaining an impression for the precise fabrication of the crown with an abutment.
• Crown fabrication. Manufacturing of a custom crown that accurately matches the patient’s anatomical features.
• Crown placement (within 3-12 months). Installing the crown on the implant using a special abutment for secure fixation.

2. The All-on-4 and All-on-6 Techniques 

involve the placement of 4/6 implants on the upper or lower jaw. Within 4-6 days after the surgery, a non-removable acrylic-composite prosthesis is attached, allowing for the restoration of function in the shortest possible time. Once the implants have integrated and the bone has fully healed, the final metal-ceramic prosthesis is installed.

Modern dentistry allows for the restoration of the dental arch even in cases of complete tooth loss without the need for wearing uncomfortable removable dentures.
