Composite veneers
Description of procedure
Composite veneers allow for precise correction of the shape, color, and position of teeth with minimal impact on natural tissues. They are crafted from a special material called composite, which is a blend of various synthetic materials such as resins and ceramics. This composite material possesses high strength and the ability to mimic the natural appearance of teeth.

Indications for use:
– Old and unsightly fillings – Incorrect shape of front teeth – Dark/uneven tooth color – Chips, cracks, wear on teeth – Gaps between teeth (diastema)
Contraindications for veneer placement:
– Large defects in hard tissues (deep cracks or decay, insufficient enamel) – Inadequate oral hygiene and gum diseases (periodontitis, gingivitis) – Oral cavity issues requiring more radical treatment (lack of chewing teeth, malocclusion, tooth developmental anomalies, trauma, etc.)
The procedure for installing composite veneers at LAMA Dentistry in Warsaw consists of several stages:
1. Tooth preparation: The dentist will examine your teeth and determine if they are suitable for veneer placement. The shape and color of the future restorations are pre-agreed upon. Then, local anesthesia is administered, and the tooth is cleaned and isolated from saliva using a rubber dam. Next, the dentist uses a bur to prepare the hard tissues, removing old restorations and pathologically altered tissues, while also creating the necessary enamel bevel to ensure a strong bond and seamless transition between the tooth and the material.
2. Veneer fabrication: Antiseptic treatment is performed. Then, a special bonding agent is applied to ensure reliable attachment of the material to the tooth tissues. Layer by layer, the dentist applies different shades of the material using special instruments and brushes, as well as special dyes, to mimic natural colors and translucency of tooth tissues. As a result, the tooth looks as natural as possible.
3. After the veneers are placed, the dentist performs finishing procedures: grinding and polishing the veneer. After this important step, the surface acquires a natural shine and smoothness.
It’s important to remember that the decision regarding the possibility of installing composite veneers is always made individually by the dentist after a thorough analysis of your situation and discussion of all possible treatment options with you. At LAMA Dentistry in Warsaw, you can have composite veneers installed using the best materials available.
